How To Turn off the anti-theft feature on your device (BB10)

Do you want to turn off the anti-theft feature?
If your device is running BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.2 or later, BlackBerry Protect is designed to provide anti-theft protection for your device. If you plan to switch to a new device or give away your device, you need to turn off the anti-theft feature so that someone else can set up your device to use.

You can turn off the anti-theft feature on your device, or from the BlackBerry Protect website.

You can turn off the anti-theft feature by turning off BlackBerry Protect on your device. You must enter your BlackBerry ID to confirm that you want to turn off BlackBerry Protect.

After you turn off BlackBerry Protect and the anti-theft feature, you can’t use the BlackBerry Protect website to help find your device, if it is ever lost or stolen.

On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
Tap Settings > BlackBerry Protect.
Turn off the BlackBerry Protect switch.
Enter your BlackBerry ID.
How to: Remove a device from your BlackBerry Protect account

You can turn off the anti-theft feature by removing your device from your BlackBerry Protect account. When you remove your device from your BlackBerry Protect account, BlackBerry Protect is turned off on your device and you can’t use the BlackBerry Protect website to help find your device, if it is ever lost or stolen. Someone else can set up the device to use.

You can’t turn off the anti-theft feature on a device that is flagged as stolen.
Note: You should wipe your device to delete the data before you remove the device from your BlackBerry Protect account.

On a computer, go to http://protect.blackberry.com.
Sign in with your BlackBerry ID.
Click Manage Devices.
Click the device that you want to remove.
Click Remove Device.

It was said you cant downgrade to 10.3.1 but i was able to discover Q10 10.3.1 that support all bb10 model with 10.3.2.2639 to downgrade.

STEPS:

  1.  Flash any of your bb10  with your model autoloader (original bb os for your model) you downloaded Under download (2).
  2. Flash  your blackberry with autoloader Q10_10.3.01.2267_SQN100-1-2-3-4-5.exe  you downloaded.( under download 1)
  3. After that setup your blackberry with your new id and start using your phone or you can factory reset your phone there after if you want.
  4. You can Reflash you BB10 with your orignal os 10.3.2.2876(optional)
Note: if relock again after step 3 flash with step 2 and enjoying your blackberry tested with blackberry passport, z10 stl-3, q10,q5  and blackberry classic. Your comment mater  most. if any broken link please report or comment
