Regardless of past (and fizzled) endeavors to resuscitate the brand, TCL (yes, that organization that makes TVs) supposes it can be the one that can reestablish it to its previous sparkling brilliance. The Chinese maker has declared at that it will make another BlackBerry-marked cell phone that will see the arrival of the console.
Also, yes, you read that privilege. BlackBerry-marked. A year ago, BlackBerry (the organization) and TCL consented to a permitting arrangement that would permit TCL to make telephones with the BlackBerry mark. They beforehand cooperated on two different cell phones for creating markets.
While the telephone has not been given a name, TCL is attempting to buildup this telephone up before Mobile World Congress. It bodes well to do as such at CES and not Mobile World Congress, else it will be lost in the ocean of other telephone declarations from, well, every other telephone maker out there.
Like BlackBerry (the organization) heretofore, TCL is underlining security as its fundamental purpose of contrast. “It draws on unparalleled versatile security and programming mastery to offer the most total security accessible for an Android cell phone,” the organization’s public statement states.
We’ll need to keep a watch out about that.
The organization hasn’t discharged numerous specs about the gadget, other than it will have “the world’s most exceptional shrewd console” and will keep running on Android. But I guess we’ll find out more when Mobile World Congress starts next month.
